I think its time we all fell in love with where we lived. It could always be worse, but as far as I can see, the grass is pretty green on this side of the fence. Some photos I took over the weekend, we didn’t have to stray far out of Ottawa proper to find all the beautiful locations.

AND if you’re looking to do something AND are in Ottawa in September, might I recommend:

These photos make me miss Ottawa – it really is a lovely city. And that fawn!!!! What an incredibly lovely shot. Just beautiful.
These shots are so gorgeous…you have me longing for a nature filled vacation.

Looks like you certainly have a wonderful location to fall in love with. Bit different when you live in a rough part of a major city but i’m sure if we all looked hard enough there is beauty everywhere. Great photos, the one of the deer is stunning
Your photo of the deer is simply amazing. How close were you to the animal?
pretty darn close. and pretty darn quiet (about 10 ft away, I would say?) ;)
i love the idea of falling in love with your hometown…but it’s difficult when you’re trying to run errands in 120 degree weather in Phoenix. that’s why i moved to LA…and it’s still close enough to be able to enjoy when it’s nice outside :)
