Wore this last weekend. And now I’m paying for it, because I got the flu. It’s the worst timing, both Isobel and I are under the weather, with 2 days before her runway show. It’s a healthy dose of tea, lemon, bath, nyquil, coldfx and adrenaline for us.
Come see the show on Friday! It’s Ottawa Fashion Week time, and there’s no way a sniffley nose is going to stop us now!

Found these old pics of me on a CD {right? who uses CDs anymore?} as I was unpacking. 10 years fly by in a heart beat…. I’m really in awe of how quickly time has passed, I haven’t seen these photos in years, and this really was my first foray into styling. I tried {very unsuccessfully} to model. There wasn’t an agency in town to take me on, so instead I started collaborating with local photographers, styling my shoots, doing my own hair and make up and really learning every job there is on set. I stopped modelling completely after this shoot and took a step back behind the camera, as a stylist and art director. Being in front of the camera gives you really great perspective when it comes to directing and what to look for in a model. The experience was totally invaluable. Anyway there’s me 8 years ago. Ta-da!

Quick little outfit post today. I have to wear a suit or suiting really, to work everyday, so my style is definitely changing. I’m paying much more attention to the little details, from the buttons to the quilted stitching on the arm to the pockets and zippers ….Every now and then Romwe sends some product (of my choice) my way, and when I scoured the site, and my boss let me know that blazers are mandatory, I opted for the blazer! I fell for the button detailing… its not everyone’s cup of tea, but it sure is mine right now!
I think you’ll be seeing much more of this blazer.
