I just had to do an outfit post with these new SS ’12 Michael Kors pieces before I sent them back.  As soon as they’re in store (in Canada), they’re mine.  Obsessed with that ring, you know, the one I shot Blythe in?  That one. OBSESSED.

I was working on a shoot for a mag, and when you’re styling, you’re sent pieces from all over the place.  Sometimes they don’t make it in time, but deadlines is deadlines and the show must go on!  I had some extra pieces that didn’t make it into the print editorial, so instead Blythe and I worked a little creative: monochromatic-girl-about-town.  If anything, the shoot pretty much sums up exactly how I’m dressing these days.  PS., isn’t Blythe just lovely?

Sometimes the little things make your day amazing: like waking up and seeing little snow flakes, but its warm enough to wear a tunic as a dress.  Or that first cup of java (maybe you add a bit of Baileys, maybe Maple Syrup is more your speed, whatever, as long as it works, right?).  The little things, or big things (and by that, I mean my 130 lb. slobber monster, Frank.  He doesn’t even know how nice it is to get a bear hug from him ~ even though he is a stink factory).  He’s been a bit camera shy as of late, but he’ll be back soon! (Man, I AM one of those people obsessed with their dog.)

Enjoy the little things, dear friends!  They pass you by so quickly!
